Forming and assembly

FORMING AND ASSEMBLY

Cutting is just the beginning of our work. We specialise in technological know-how. We start with a drawing, create a 2D cut from it, and then carry out bending, rounding, pressing, welding and final surface treatment to produce a 3D product, a utility model with a stress on practicality and long life.

Machining of laser-cut parts

deburring, grinding-off of scale or coarser impurities with two-stage belt grinding
chamfering or slight rounding of edges with rotary grinding units
regrinding of the entire exterior of the laser-cut part down to the visible surface with a sanding drum

Bending

CNC press brakes
Sheet metal up to 8 mm thick can be bent along the entire length of both press brakes. The maximum thickness depends on the specific parameters of the bends, tools and materials used. Thicker materials can be bent over shorter lengths, but special tools are required.

TRUMPF TruBend 5170

maximum bending length:

3 230mm

maximum pressing force:

170 t/1 700kN

CNC controlled axes:

5x

CNC cambering

automatic measurement and control of ACB

Roll bending

We carry out roll bending on two machines from a minimum diameter of approx. 100 mm, with the possibility of creating atypical shapes, cones, etc. Sheet thickness up to approx. 3 mm.

Welding

Wide range of class 11 and 12 materials and stainless steel up to a thickness of approx. 20 mm. Aluminium parts in which the material is approx. 1.2 to 12 mm thick.

TIG welding

Welding in an argon atmosphere. This is a method of clean surface welding.

MIG welding

Metal welding in a protective atmosphere of inert gas.

MAG welding

Metal welding in an active gas atmosphere.

Spot welding

Resistance spot welding of sheet metal parts on stationary equipment. The maximum thickness of spot welded semi-finished products is 5 + 5 mm.

Electrical discharge welding

Welding of bolts and other assembly components with a diameter of 2-8 mm – at lengths of 6 to 40 mm (these are standard parameters). This welding can also be adapted to higher requirements.

Satin finishing

We grind surfaces, especially stainless steel sheet metal parts, into a perfect visual design in a process known as SATIN FINISHING. These are mostly manual operations that, for the most part, use special satin finishing grinders.

Dyeing, galvanising, chrome plating, pickling and other treatment

We work with tried-and-tested partners who supply quality powder coating, classic wet painting, galvanising (including chromates), pickling and passivation of stainless steel. We are also able to provide other surface treatments as required by the customer.

Additional operations

Press fitting or assembly, riveting, etc., of various connecting elements (including their purchase) Cutting of pipes, profiles, etc. on a circular saw Machine drilling, reaming and threading, THERMDRILL – a special method of threading, etc., also suitable for thin materials Bonding with the latest adhesives as an interesting and progressive alternative for the joining of materials Installation work Assembly and packaging of products in line with customer requirements Purchase of components and subcontracting for the assembly of parts and orders

MATERIALS

We stock a wide range of materials from structural and stainless steel to aluminium and durals. Other types of metals and alloys are available on request. We also work with plastic, glass, stone, sealant, etc. We also process customer-supplied material or semi-finished products supplied to order.
